Our Dentists

Dr. Bardia Ghassemi, DMD

General Dentist

Dr. Bardia Ghassemi was raised in Vancouver, earning his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of British Columbia in 2015. After graduation he moved to rural Northern Alberta to begin his formal career in Dentistry and made the move to Access Dental in 2018.

Dr. Bardia provides a wide range of dental procedures with a particular interest in implant surgery, wisdom teeth removal, root canal therapy and using IV sedation for optimal patient comfort. He strives to provide his patients with individualized, comprehensive treatment plans and information by spending time in educational courses to help continually improve his techniques and stay on top of changing technologies in the field.

Dr. Perica Nonkovic, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Nonkovic has been practicing dentistry for over 10 years. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Manitoba, and has a special interest in implantology (dental implants) and TMD/TMJ. He has completed a number of training courses to develop his proficiency in these fields, in order to provide the best possible care for his patients.

Dr. Nonkovic and his team love to give back to the Grande Prairie and surrounding communities, through their annual Day of Free Dentistry for those in need.

When Dr. Nonkovic is not with his patients, he enjoys playing sports outdoors and spending time with his wife and two children.
Dr. Walter Junikiewicz, DDS

General Dentist

Dr. Walter received his master’s and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Medicine in 2015. He then moved back to Canada and obtained a DDS degree (doctor of dental surgery) in the advanced placement program at the University of Alberta.
